No logo, no monogram, no chest print and no woven tab on the cuff. Just lambswool, Shetland, Donegal and merino, knitted at a gauge we publish, in one mill in Barcelos.
It costs a few cents to embroider and it is doing most of the selling. We would rather spend it on the yarn.
So the range is deliberately unmarked. There is no embroidery at the chest, no monogram at the cuff and no woven label on the outside of anything. The only label is the composition tag inside the collar, because the law requires it.
What we publish instead is the specification: the yarn and its count, the gauge, the finished weight in grams, and the town the mill is in. Those are the numbers that tell you what a knit will feel like in three winters.
It is not a copy of anyone. Every pattern, cut and colourway here is drawn in our own studio — we do not make versions of other brands' designs, and we do not sell anything designed to be mistaken for them.

The number of needles per inch. Lower is thicker. It is the single most useful figure on a knit.
Boiled and felted, 780 g. Behaves like a jacket and blocks wind.

Shetland and Donegal, 470–500 g. The everyday winter weight.
Extra-fine merino, 260 g. Goes under a jacket with no bulk at the shoulder.
We knit to order in small runs. A sold-out colour comes back rather than being replaced.
Reduced against the price we actually charged for them, for at least 30 days, in the last six months.
Moth holes, snags and a worn elbow. Post it in and we re-knit it by hand.
Two months, because a jumper takes a season to judge. Unworn, tags on.
